ABOUT
For as long as I can remember, I have enjoyed creating and sharing stories and experiences with people through a variety of different means - writing books in the playground with my friend, or creating what I dreamed would be the "next big hit" game.
Through this want to share my ideas, I have gathered a large skill-set, be that self-taught or professionally educated. If there's a method of creation that can aid me in realising my stories and my ideas, I will work around the clock to develop myself and my skills to a standard that grants me the ability to move forward with making my ideas into real, tangible results that I can share with pride.
I'm a strong believer in the idea that visual mediums can create experiences that can impact and inspire a viewer in ways that other mediums can't, and as a result I have always strived to make sure everything I create is utilizing my chosen mediums to their fullest, and experimenting with breaking what rules I've learnt to see if going against the grain will result in something that takes full advantage of the unique aspects of the chosen medium to produce something inspired.
I work well in a team, as being able to cut down on my own workload lets me focus in more on singular tasks and gives me time to dedicate myself fully to them instead of worrying about other aspects of a project at the same time. However, I am also capable of being self-sufficient, as many of my projects demanded me to learn a new discipline to progress, and as a result I am capable of creating a product that looks good by myself - using free assets online should I feel the need to cut back on my workload.
GAME DESIGN/DEVELOPMENT
Starting out developing homebrew for the Nintendo DS, I've been developing games for a very long time.
Moving from developing in GameMaker: Studio to Unreal Engine, I've always tried to create games that stand out from the rest of the crowd, experimenting with Genre, Mechanics and Gameplay to create experiences that can only be achieved in the medium of Video Games.
Engines I have Experience in:
-Unreal Engine 4 & 5
-GameMaker: Studio
VIDEO
I've been experimenting with video as a medium for a very long time, trying my hand at various techniques over the years, ranging from Stop-Motion to 3D Animation.
I enjoy learning and discovering new techniques and methods to tell stories or create visual experiences, such as my on-going Motion-Comic series "Kill For Those That Listen", as well as fan lyric videos I have produced to test out new visual styles and editing methods with the aim to create an aesthetic that I feel fits the songs I have chosen.
Software I have Experience in:
-Adobe Premiere Pro
-Adobe After Effects
-Corel VideoStudio Pro
Other Skills
As a result of my drive to create, I have ended up gathering a wide range of skills and techniques in various software, as well as in various methods of creation.
I have been teaching myself Blender for a few years, starting with making animations from pre-existing models, eventually using it to create sets to draw over for "Kill For Those That Listen" to speed up my work-flow. Recently, I have started to learn more disciplines in regards to character modelling, as I have a hobby of 3D Printing and painting figures and wanted to model some of my own characters to have as figures.
Software I have Experience in:
-Blender
-Adobe Photoshop
-Adobe Substance Painter
